COMPANY DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY

Signable Inc. o/a 1 Hour Signs, Kitchener has successfully served Kitchener-Waterloo & Waterloo Region for over 29 years. Established in 1993, the Kitchener store became the first franchised store in the 1 Hour Signs chain that began with the head office location in Guelph.

Since then, the 1 Hour Signs organization has grown to ten franchisee-owned stores serving a large part of Southwestern Ontario. In December of 2001, the franchiser of 1 Hour Signs sold his interest in the Guelph store location and the franchise to the ten current storeowners. 1 Hour Signs Inc. is now the largest independently owned sign network in Canada.

The concept for 1 Hour Signs began with the growing computer hardware & software technology and self-adhesive vinyl film engineered for indoor & outdoor use. It was realized that the joining of these technologies allowed signmakers to manufacture signs faster, efficiently and at less cost than ever before. The days of sign painting by hand were numbered. Now it is possible to produce a sign (with certain restrictions, of course) in 1 hour. But the 1 hour service does come at a price. For the 1 hour service we charge a 50% premium over the regular price of the sign(s).

TWO COMPANIES IN ONE

Signable Inc. is the corporation entity that holds the rights to use the trade name 1 Hour Signs. In an effort to increase our market and product identity, we are bringing the name Signable Inc. to the forefront. Hopefully our customer base will realize that we can do much more than make signs in 1 hour. Signable Inc. has the experience and knowledge as sign contactors on large sign projects.

Our main business continues to be vinyl-cut and wide format full colour digital printing of graphics. These are used for every sign application including:
